Letter: PG&E bills stunning

Our PG&E bill in May was $169.70, June was $279.90 and our July bill was $977.

PG&E claims that our kilowatt hours per day had nearly tripled from June to July, but we were out of town on vacation for 10 days in July.

Any idea what we can do?

I called PG&E and they claim that it is because of the "rate increase." I wonder if anyone else in town has had this problem. Please help!
