• If you were granted one wish, what would you wish for? For all my kids to be well off and adjusted in their lives

• Whom do you most admire and why? My best girlfriend who is raising five kids while going to school for her RN. To me, she's mother of the year.

• What was your first job? I got a job in a preschool when I was 18. It was fun.

HOMELESS SHELTER?
Yuba City is considering using the former fire station No. 4 on Walton Avenue as a cold-weather shelter for homeless families. Is this a good idea?
Yes. We've gone too long with limited options for homeless families.
