Letter: Liberal agenda damages state
Gov. Jerry Brown's decision to sign into law Senate Bill 48, which incorporates into our children's educational requirements of the intrusive subject on homosexuality, is the continuation of the liberal left's charge toward a socialistic society of government rule.
Why is it our governor cannot see the damage he is causing to this state's populace? His disregard toward the majority vote against the homosexual movement is disgraceful and demeaning to the voters and has become an embarrassment throughout the nation. What is worse ... the liberals are oblivious to this fact.
Are the liberal Democrats purposely trying to secede from our 50 states in an attempt to prove their socialistic world is a better place to live in? It appears so. It is a wonder our governor cannot see what the liberal leadership has done to this state's environment.
I am embarrassed and appalled the voters have had to endure multiple votes on the issue of homosexuality, and the subject has been continually voted down.
And yet, because of a minority's private-in-issue, which has nothing to do with a child's school education, the populace is forced to acknowledge this liberalistic sexual issue. It is immoral and a waste of taxpayer dollars.
