50th Anniversary: Schumate

Former Yuba-Sutter residents Randall and Linda Schumate, the former Linda Counts, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
The couple were married Nov. 10, 1962, in Live Oak and were residents of Yuba City for 42 years before moving to Loveland, Colo., eight years ago.
He retired from Sunsweet Growers. She retired after working as a teacher's assistant at Franklin Elementary School and as a teller at Wells Fargo Bank.
They have two children, Kathleen Shumate of Portland, Ore., and Brian Shumate of Loveland, Colo.; and two grandsons.
