Three Cheers: Live Oak Manor offers great care

Comments 0 | Recommend 0

Some times in life you have to make tough decisions.

Four years ago, we had to place a loved one in the Live Oak Manor and Rehabilitation facility in Live Oak. Wow, what a great choice we made. The care and love our mother recieved was more than anyone can imagine.

The staff, nurses, CNAs, therapists, activities, maintenance and laundry departments are, in our minds, the very best that you could hope for for a loved one.

We would visit mom every day and there was never a day that went by when we were not greeted with smiles and hugs. They are a very special group of caring people.

We would not hesitate to recomend the Live Oak Manor to anyone who has to make this difficalt decision knowing that they are going to get the best care possable.

HOMELESS SHELTER?
Yuba City is considering using the former fire station No. 4 on Walton Avenue as a cold-weather shelter for homeless families. Is this a good idea?
Yes. We've gone too long with limited options for homeless families.
It's a good idea, but the fire station is a bad location for this.
No. The city has better things they can use the building for.
I'm not sure.
