LOCAL ROUNDUP: Yuba volleyball cruises past Marin

The Yuba College volleyball team is two wins away from finishing its Bay Valley Conference slate undefeated after defeating College of Marin in Kentfield on Friday.
The 49ers topped Marin 25-23, 25-16, 25-18 to improve to 20-1 overall and 13-0 in conference play.
The 49ers wrap up their regular season with a pair of home matches next week.
Yuba City High product Katie Reiland led the team with 10 kills and three blocks, while Sutter grads Brenna McDonald, Katie Olson and Angela DeHaan each recorded seven kills of their own in the victory.
Olson also led the way in the dig department with six, while McDonald tallied five digs, three aces and two blocks. Emily Toledo chipped in five kills and two blocks at the net, while Sam Foster delivered 34 assists and three digs.

Sutter 35, Oroville 0
In Oroville — Alex Lopez scored a pair of rushing touchdowns, Lucas Romo picked off two passes and the the Huskies finished the season with a perfect 10-0 record with a win over the Tigers.
Lopez scored on runs of 15 and 6 yards, Riley Vickner and Cobe Willis also scored on runs of 2 yards and 9 yards, respectively.
Randy Post threw a 39-yard touchdown pass to Tyler Minton.
Brett Ahlers had an interception and Collin Schuster recovered a fumble.
