Engagement: Lopez/Villarreal

Ashley Lopez and Alan Villarreal, residents of San Luis Obispo, are planning a wedding July 28 at Cliffs Resort in Pismo Beach.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Alfred and Diane Lopez of Yuba City.
She works as a communications and marketing specialist for the city of San Luis Obispo.
Her fiancé is the son of Manuel and Kathy Villarreal of Sacramento.
He works as an aeronautical engineer for AME Unmanned Air Systems in San Luis Obispo.
Both received bachelor's degrees at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, she in journalism and graphic communication and he in aerospace engineering.
He is working on a master's degree in business administration and engineering management from Cal Poly.
