Family: Three children (most out, on the revolving door program); fiancé and his daughter. My mother lives here and my two sisters who love when I share personal information on the radio about them or family get togethers. My father lives in Cupertino.

Occupation: Marketing executive and on-air personality for KUBA, Star 94.1 and KNCO AM. Co-owner of Elite Fight Gear.

What brought you in the Y-S area: Family, I had young children and wanted the small town atmosphere

Tell us about a life-changing experience: Becoming a mother

Hobbies, interests: Creating, enjoying new experiences, I love the water, the beach (sound of the waves crashing), sunsets.

Where do you get your news: KUBA, being out in the community, late night news and I love Nancy Grace on CNN.

What's the closest you've been to a famous person: I played the piano for Bill Withers when I was a teen.

Favorite singers: Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilara, Aretha Franklin, Gwen Steffani, Prince, young Elton John, Big Luther and Skinny Luther Vandross, Al Green, Phil Collins, Tony Bennet and Frank Sinatra “Scooby Doobie Doo”

What was your first job: Waitress

What is the best part of your job: Having a part in helping my clients become more successful, growing with them, discovering new ways to help them market their business, and becoming great friends along the way. I love the on-air part of my job, connecting with the community, talking to people when we are out in the public and getting to know our listeners. Being a co-owner of a sports apparel business has been exciting.

Clubs, organizations: I have been a Chamber of Commerce Ambassador, a Yuba City Downtown Business Association member, a Rotarian, a volunteer for the free health clinic at Bridge Street School; have served on the United Way allocations committee twice. I'm on vacation at the moment.

How would you describe yourself: Groovy, fun loving, sincere

If you were in charge, what would you change about the community: There needs to be more for the young people of our communities.
