Rene Marie MacNeil of Grass Valley and Erik Michael Elliott of Marysville, plan to wed August 2013 at Tahoe Paradise at South Lake Tahoe.
The bride-to-be, daughter of Paul MacNeil of Auburn and Jackie Sunzeri of Folsom, works as a phlebotomist at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital in Grass Valley.
She also works part-time as a body piercer at Syndicate Tattoo in Auburn.
Her fiancé is the son of Linda Elliott of Marysville and Darrell Elliott of Florida.
He works on oil rigs as a roughneck for Ensign Drilling.
