Religious man criticizes torture, rape verdict

Michael Gray, a local religious man who became Tyrone Dyson's spiritual mentor in recent months, criticized the verdict, the prosecutor's office and both the victim and the second ex-girlfriend, who was a key witness during the trial. He said both women lied and said there were too many holes in the evidence against Dyson.

"To expose someone to life in prison when there are so many grey areas is just sickening," Gray said. "I hope they appeal. This was a waste of taxpayer money."
