Carissa Beecham and Matthew Lechowick, both of Sacramento, plan to wed May 31 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marysville.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jack and Patricia Beecham of Marysville.

A 2000 graduate of Marysville High School, she received degrees from the University of California, Davis, a bachelor's degree in political science in 2004 and her Juris Doctor degree in 2007, and was a member of the Order of the Coif. Currently, she is an attorney at Best Best & Krieger L.L.P. in Sacramento.

Her fiancé is the son of Judy and Dave Sundquist of Sacramento and Vince and Lori Lechowick of Ukiah.

A 2000 graduate of Jesuit High School in Sacramento, he earned a bachelor's degree from UC Davis in 2004 and a master's of architecture degree from Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago in 2007. He is employed as a designer at Stantec Architecture in Sacramento.
