Larry A. Hill
Larry Alexander Hill, 86, of Marysville died Dec. 15, 2006, at his residence.
Born in Maynard, Mass., he was a Yuba-Sutter resident since 1977.
He was a lumberjack for 35 years.
He was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 495, Portland, Ore.
Also, he served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a prisoner of war in Germany.
Survivors include his wife, April H. Hill of Marysville; a son, Michael L. Hill of Marysville; two daughters, Cecile D. Saari of Quincy and Bonnie L. Potts of Crestview, Fla.; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services: Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Lipp and Sullivan Chapel in Marysville. A graveside service is scheduled at 1 p.m. Friday at Meadow Valley Cemetery, Meadow Valley. The Rev. Cynthia Stateman of First United Methodist Church of Quincy will officiate.
