Gladys I. Massae
Gladys Irene Massae, 99, of Yuba City died Jan. 9, 2006, at her residence.
Born in Coldridge, Neb., she was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 15 years.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Yuba City.
Survivors include a son, Joseph A. Massae Jr. of Yuba City; two daughters, Mary Marie Wright of Roanoke, Ala., and Sherrill D. Wanous of Portland, Ore.; eight grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Massae Sr.; a son, Gene Massae; a brother, Oren Doud; and a sister, Bessie Blackburn.
Donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
Service: Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lipp and Sullivan Chapel in Marysville. A service is scheduled at 11 a.m. Friday also at the chapel with Bishop Scott Adrian of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Yuba City officiating. Burial will be in the Oroville District Cemetery in Oroville.
