Wedding: Menchini/Artist
Yuba City residents Gina Menchini and Todd Artist were married Oct. 6 at the Giampaoli residence in Sutter.
The ceremony was officiated by the groom’s lifelong friend, Mark Maxwell of San Diego.
A reception followed at the same site.
The bride, daughter of Bill and Annette Menchini of Yuba City, was attended by Bethany Miller of Yuba City as maid of honor.
Attendants included Angela Goodman of Marysville as a bridesmaid; Jeff Overton of Reno, Nev., as a groomsman; and the groom’s daughters, Emily and Natalie Artist of Yuba City, as flower girls.
The bride is a special education teacher and head cheerleader coach at River Valley High School.
She graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1999.
The groom, son of Grant and Margaret Artist of Yuba City and Nancy Artist, also of Yuba City, was attended by Thabiti Mwalozi of Susanville as best man.
He is a physical education teacher, assistant varsity baseball coach and strength and condition coach at River Valley High School.
He graduated from California State University, Chico in 1995. He
The couple honeymooned at St. Lucia.
