Linda man arrested after drugs found in car
A Linda man was arrested early Saturday after deputies found more than 37 grams of methamphetamine packed in baggies, a syringe and a small amount of heroin inside his vehicle, the Yuba County Sheriff's Department said.
Larry Dorsey, 48, was booked into Yuba County Jail on suspicion of possessing controlled substances for sale and transportation of controlled substances.
Lt. Damon Gil said the street value of the methamphetamine is about $1,200.
A deputy stopped Dorsey in the 3200 block of Erle Road just before 2 a.m. The search of the vehicle led to the discovery of well over an ounce of methamphetamine, the Sheriff's Department said. Dorsey is on parole.
He was still in custody Monday night on $20,000 bail.
