• What brought you to the Yuba-Sutter area? Larger homes and land for the same price or lower than Sacramento; the more rural atmosphere

• What is the closest you've been to a famous person? Can't really say I have ever met a famous person unless you count Arnold Schwarzenegger prior to his running for governor but after his filming of "The Terminator."

• Favorite television show: "Grey's Anatomy," "American Idol," "Cold Case" and "Criminal Minds"

• Favorite sports team: Sacramento Kings

• What was your first job? I was a courtesy clerk for Albertson's grocery stores.

• What kind of pets do you have? A dog, Sierra, and one cat, Taylor

• What was your favorite/least favorite subject in school? Favorite: history and government; least favorite: chemistry.

• What is your dream job? If I could, I would be a stay-at-home mom and maybe do some writing on the side from home. Then, once my kids were in school, I would love to utilize the teaching credential I have but have never used.

• What are some of your fondest memories? As a child, Christmastime with all my cousins, and baking with my grandmother; as an adult, my wedding day and the days I gave birth to both my children

• If you were in charge, what would you change about the community? I am not sure I would change much, while I would love some retail closer to Plumas Lake. I also love the rural atmosphere and know that will come soon enough. In the future, I would love a high school that serves our community specifically.
