Air Force Airman Sean E. Randall graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas.
The son of Charles and Nelwyn Randall of Smartsville, he is a 2009 graduate of Nevada Union High School in Nevada City.

Navy Airman Apprentice Nikolaus A. Batres and more than 7, 500 sailors of the Ronald Reagan Carrier Strike Group relieved the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group as Commander, Task Force 50.
He is a 2006 graduate of Wheatland Union High School.
The deployment is in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.
