Wedding: Monnier/Kaiser

Michele Monnier and James Kaiser, residents of Sterling Heights, Mich., were married Aug. 31 at the Auburn Country Club in Auburn. The Rev. Phillip Lanzarotta officiated.

A reception was held at the same site.

The bride, daughter of Jeanne Monnier and Kieth Monnier of Sidney, Ohio, had Maura Lankenau of Yuma, Ariz., as maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Connee Dickerson of Carlsbad and Lisa Depew and the groom’s sister, Jennifer Kaiser Wilcher, both of Folsom.

Attendants also included Madison Wilcher and Joshua Depew, both of Folsom, as a flower girl and ring bearer, respectively.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of the University of Dayton, with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

The groom, son of John and Georgia Kaiser of Yuba City, had Jat Pannu of New York City as best man.

Ushers were Scott Wilcher of Folsom, John Smock of Edinburgh, Ind., and the bride’s brother, Mike Monnier of Christiansburg, Ohio.

The groom is a 1993 graduate of the University of California, Davis, with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, and a 2000 graduate of the University of Illinois with a master’s degree in mechanical engineering.

Both work with Behr America Inc. as team leaders in development engineering.

The couple honeymooned at Whitehouse, Jamaica.
