James H. Morgan, 85, of Gridley died Sept. 15, 2006, at his residence.
Born in Oklahoma, he was a Mid-Valley resident for 17 years.
He was a retired hammerman in the blacksmith industry.
Survivors include three sons, Ron Morgan of Gridley, Cecil Morgan of San Jose and Melvin Morgan of Missouri; a daughter, Alanya Morgan of Santa Rosa; a brother, Hollis Morgan of Gridley; a sister, Berniece Bowden of San Jose; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services: No services will be held per his request. Arrangements are under the direction of Holycross Memorial Services in Yuba City.
