What brought you to the Yuba-Sutter area? I was born here.
What keeps you here? The people. People are pretty nice, you gotta know the right ones, and I love the weather.
What is the closest you've been to a famous person? I met Krist Novoselic, the bass player in Nirvana. He autographed my guitar when I met him at a book-signing.
If you had to be on a reality show, which would you choose? Probably "American Idol." I can sing OK, but they don't have you go up there and play guitar, so I guess otherwise it would be "Fear Factor."
Favorite movies: "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom," Disney's "Robin Hood," "Stand By Me."
If you were granted one wish, what would it be? That everybody understand each other in the same language, so we can all talk to each other, regardless of all the hate.
Favorite type of music: I listen to punk and grunge, also mellow music like folk music; Bob Dylan, classic rock.
Favorite TV show: "The Simpsons," I like humor.
Who do you most admire and why? I would say my dad because he grew me up, taught me how to play music and I grew up with his side of the family.
Dream job: I want to be a teacher, probably ninth-grade history.
Dream vacation: I want to go see Egypt and the pyramids, because I'm very interested in astrology and astronomy, like the Egyptians were.
