Marcelino Navarro

Marcelino “Louie” Navarro, 60, of Yuba City died Dec. 10, 2006, at Rideout Memorial Hospital.


Born in Guadalajara, Mexico, he was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 40 years.


He worked as a truck driver and was a member of the Elks Lodge.


Survivors include his wife, Wilma Navarro of Yuba City; three daughters, Stephanie Patterson of Yuba City, Millie Lyon of Live Oak and Frances Navarro of San Francisco; two sons, Joey Navarro of Yuba City and Tony Navarro of Wichita, Kan.; his mother, Nicolasa Navarro of Mexico; three sisters, Teresa Cabrera of Linda and Chato Navarro and Aurora Navarro, both of Mexico; four brothers, Pepe Navarro of Los Angeles and Pablo Navarro, Antonio Navarro and Juan Navarro, all of Mexico; and 11 grandchildren.


Donations may be made to the American Heart Association.


Services: Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, with a rosary recited at 7 p.m., at Ullrey Memorial Chapel in Yuba City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Friday at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 222 Clark Ave., Yuba City. Burial will follow in Sutter Cemetery.
