Letter: Read ‘Emperor's New Clothes' before voting

Before anyone votes in November, they should read the children's book "The Emperor's New Clothes."

This is what the Democrats do when a new election is coming. Trust us, we will do better next time, and they spend our tax dollars like a drunken sailor.

Look around and you can see what the leaders have done to this great state. Marysville is on the edge of going bankrupt and Yuba College finds a $54 million payment; what do these people do to earn their salaries?

If you don't have the time to read the book, a summary: After spending vast sums of money on new clothes, a child at the parade to show off the new clothes shouts that the emperor is naked. The child is the only one who would tell the truth. This is what our elected officials do to us.
