Yuba College offering set of Notary Public courses

Yuba College is offering new online classes that begin every month.

Currently, a state-approved Notary Public course is available. The class will provide information on how to pass the state examination and provide the complete guide to Notary law, including practice exams, laws and regulations.

Cost of the course is $75. Interested persons can register on the Web at www.ed2go.com/ yccdcommed.

An exam preparation course also is available at the college on Jan. 21.

The seminar is designed to provide students with everything about becoming an effective Notary. The test must be taken every four years.

A legal workshop is included with the course. The Notary Public state examination will be given immediately following the workshop, which will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The test will be from 5 to 6 p.m.

The fee is $75, which includes a $20 material fee, payable in class, and a $45 fee for exam. For more information, call 741-6825.
