Lincoln Elementary School
Yuba City
• Today and Friday the school is holding parent teacher conferences. Students will be excused from school at 1 p.m. both days to allow sufficient time for conferences.
• There will be no school next week, Monday through Nov. 23, in honor of Thanksgiving.
• Two important events coming up on Nov. 28 are the kindergarten awards assembly at 10:20 a.m. and a meeting at 4 p.m. in the multipurpose room for the parents of fifth-graders in preparation for the trip to Shady Creek.
Tierra Buena Elementary School
Yuba City
• Today is the last minimum day devoted to parent teacher conferences.
• The seventh- and eighth-graders will have a fall dance on Friday.
• There will be no school Monday through Nov. 23 in honor of Thanksgiving.
Luther Elementary School
Live Oak
• Students received awards for gaining 50 points or more on their California State Testing at the school's flag salute Nov. 9. Luther School has made a 61-point gain in the past five years.
• Parent/teacher conferences are being held this week ending the first trimester of the year.
Encinal Elementary School
