Letter: Cemetery district experience hailed

I would like to thank the people of Live Oak Cemetery District for letting me serve them for the last 34 years. Its has been a experience almost beyond description. I know I have tried my best to be there for the community whenever they have needed me, be it Monday-Friday or Saturday and Sunday no matter the hour, to me it never mattered. It was the peace of mind that folks had when it was all done that was important.

I had hoped to be there a few more years but my body started telling me to slow down. But mostly due to circumstances beyond my control, I felt I had to leave as I could no longer work with the current board of trustees and current office manager.

So on that note: thank you good folks for everything. It has been my pleasure to serve you.
