Letter: Kerry nomination shocking

I cannot believe that former Sen. John Kerry has been appointed and approved to be secretary of state. A lot of other veterans and I believe him to be a traitor.

I did not watch the hearings on his appointment, but I suppose no one brought up his actions during the Vietnam War. The man led demonstrations; he went to France and talked with the North Vietnamese; he threw his military decorations (some I think were undeserved) over the fence at the White House; and he compared our soldiers to Hitler's storm troopers.

And his animosity to the US continues to this day. But he is the type of person whom President Barack Obama seems to prefer to surround himself with.

All I can say is God bless America, and help her to survive the next four years of Barack Hussein Obama, and his socialist/Marxist vision for the US.
