Observer archives: Do you know who this is ...

Can you name the man in the first photo, published in the Aug. 14, 1995, issue of the Corning Observer? If you would like to take a guess, call the Observer at 824-5464 or come by the office at 1208 Solano St.

No one correctly identified the two men in Wednesday's archive picture (second photo) as Ron Langenderfer and Gary Henry. The caption with the July 28, 1995, photograph said: "Ron Langenderfer of Corning recently won two tickets to this Sunday's NHRA Autolite Nationals at Sears Point Raceway. The contest was sponsored by M & M Motorparts of Corning. Above, Langenderfer (left) receives his tickets from M & M manager Gary Henry. Ron's son Jeremy stands in front of the two."
