Can you name the man in the first photo, published in the Dec. 22, 1995, issue of the Corning Observer? If you would like to take a guess, call the Observer at 824-5464 or come by the office at 1208 Solano St.
Lillian Lewellyn, Billie Womack, Jean Johnson, Valanne Cardenas, Darlene Dickinson, Juanita Gautier and Dusty Oliveria correctly identified the man and woman in Wednesday's archive picture (second photo in queue) as George Freeman and Helen Pitkin. The caption with the Nov. 24, 1995, photograph said, "Chamber of Commerce Manager Helen Pitkin and volunteer George Freeman distribute trees for the upcoming Christmas Tree Lane contest."
