Engagement: Miller/Ockey

Kaitlyn Miller and David Ockey, residents of Rexburg, Idaho, plan to wed Aug. 1 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Sacramento Temple in Rancho Cordova.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Cecil and Jennifer Thomas of Yuba City. She is a 2008 graduate of Yuba City High School.

Her fiancé is the son of Russ and Suzan Ockey of Broomfield, Colo. A 2004 graduate of Century High School in Rochester, Minn., he works as a computer programmer at EZNetTools in Rexburg, Idaho. He served a two-year mission for the church in the Lubbock Texas mission.

Both are attending Brigham Young University, Idaho, she majoring in health sciences and he majoring in computer information technology.
