Williams
Rummage sale, bazaar today
A rummage sale and outdoor bazaar are under way today at the Williams Community Church.
The fundraiser is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 315 Ninth St. in Williams.
Money raised goes to the church's Missions Committee for future projects.
Colusa
Lutheran church hosts Oktoberfest
Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Colusa is hosting an Oktoberfest at 12:30 p.m. Sunday at 720 Ware Ave.
Admission is free, with donations accepted.
The event includes music, wine and beer tasting, a travelogue and brats and sauerkraut.
Linda
Daylong events planned Oct. 20
A full day of scrapbooking is set at the Croptoberfest Workshop fundraiser hosted by Abundant Life Church, Iglesia Vida Abundante in Linda.
Planned from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Oct. 20, the day includes breakfast, lunch and dinner in addition to drawings, silent auctions and creating and taking home projects.
Registration, due by Oct. 15, is $50 per person. Space is limited.

Yuba City
Barbecue set at St. Isidore
Barbecue chicken, white or dark meat, will be featured at a drive-through barbecue at St. Isidore Catholic Church sponsored by the Young Ladies Institute No. 235 and the Knights of Columbus No. 5978.
The fundraiser meal pick-up is from 2 to 6 p.m. Oct. 21 behind the parish hall, 222 Clark Ave., Yuba City.
Sliced smoked pork, cole slaw, baked beans and homemade cookies are also part of the meal.
Tickets are $15 per meal or $25 for two, available for purchase through Oct. 14 after Sunday Mass or call 329-3277.
Tickets will not be sold at the drive-through.
Marysville
Fall Festival at St. Joseph
Two days of activities are planned Oct. 27 and 28 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church's 63rd Annual Fall Festival at Seventh and C streets in Marysville.
On Oct. 27, the festival features a dinner and comedy show plus from 6:30 to 9:30 . Tickets are $20 each.
The festival on Oct. 28 is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with live entertainment, food booths and a variety of games.

Harvest Fest set Oct. 31
Carnival games and costume contests are part of the 30th Annual Harvest Festival set at the Sutter Community Church.
Activities from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31 also include candy, prizes, food and music.
All events are free.
