Virginia M. Ridgway
Virginia Mae Ridgway, 77, of Olivehurst died July 4, 2005, at Rideout Memorial Hospital.
Born in West Virginia, she was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 31 years.
She was a nurse for 15 years.
Survivors include six daughters, Emma McConnell of Olivehurst, Amanda Conner of Yuba City, Jackie Mitchell of Idaho, Darlene Fisher of Florida, Linda McCredies and Charlotte Howell, both of Ohio; five sons, Ellis Ridgway Jr. of Olivehurst, Paul Mitchell of Marysville, Bill Mitchell of Ohio, Joe Ridgway and Frank Mitchell, both of Cresent City; her mother, Eva French of Ohio; seven sisters, Dorothy Marion, Gerry Williamson, Nancy Sexton, Joyce Staffer, Paulette French, Mary Whitsel and Kathryn Dunne, all of Ohio; three brothers, Jack French, Mike French and George French, all of Ohio; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis Ridgway; and a daughter, Eleanor Warnes.
Services: Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Sierra View Mortuary, 4498 Olive Ave., Olivehurst. A funeral service is scheduled at 11 a.m. Thursday also at the chapel. Burial will be in Sierra View Memorial Park.
