Letter: US Profiles appreciated

One of my favorite items in the Appeal-Democrat is the US Profiles.

I really liked Larry Riley's statement about what he would do with a million dollars, especially about the military family.

If anybody needs a higher salary, it's the regular guy in the service, many times with a family, and the most underpaid people around.

We, too, are fans of Notre Dame. One grandson is a junior there this year, and we have become great fans of the football team. Hope they win the big one!

I was happy to read that Squeeze Inn will be coming, but I think Mr. Ostberg should check the price of the Cheese Squeeze (icon of this place) because it is $7.99, not $5.99. There are burgers for $5.99, but not the most famous of all.
