More than 50 youngsters turned out at the Yuba County Library in Marysville to create Christmas ornaments during a tree-trimming workshop on Saturday.
Children had multiple options and ample supplies to get their creative juices flowing. Supplies are provided free of charge and participants are encouraged to make two ornaments — one to take home and one for a tree in the library.
The workshop continues each Saturday through Dec. 22 from 1 p.m.-4 p.m. Santa Claus will be in attendance on Dec. 22 from 2 p.m.-5 p.m.
