Yuba City resident Edna Page celebrated her 85th birthday with a garden party attended by about 75 friends and family members.
The celebration was hosted by her son and daughter-in-law, Fraser and Mary Page of Yuba City.
She was born Aug. 19, 1923, in Metisco, Alberta, Canada, and has been a Yuba-Sutter resident for 40 years.
Formerly she lived in the San Lorenzo area for 20 years.
A homemaker, she formerly worked periodically for S&W Walnuts.
She has been a member of the Sons of Norway since 1971 and enjoys family gatherings, making blankets, friends dropping by the house and keeping up with current events through the news.
Her family also includes son, Dale Page of Devon, England, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
