Wedding: Francis/Palmer

Michelle Francis of Yuba City and David Palmer of Robbins were married June 10, 2007, at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course at Lake Tahoe.

A reception was held at the same location.

The bride, daughter of Ellen and David Francis of Yuba City, had her sister, Emily Francis of Yuba City, as maid of honor.

Her attendants also included Alison Miller and Kathryn Brunton, both of Sacramento, Sarah Matli of Novato, Paula Podesta of San Francisco and Nicholette Bell of Paradise as bridesmaids.

The bride, a 2005 graduate of California State University, Chico, is a social worker for Alta California Regional Center in Sacramento.

The groom, son of Norma Palmer of Robbins and the late Wesley Palmer, had Darwin Freeman of Roseville as best man.

Ushers included Charles Newkirk, Robert Newkirk and Timothy Newkirk, all of Robbins; Michael Palmer of Orangevale; Tarnjit Athwal of Roseville; Matthew Gunderson of San Francisco; and Johnny Albanez of Florida.

The groom is a 2004 graduate of Southern Utah University. He is a professional basketball player with the North Dakota Wizards, an NBA development league team.

Both are 2000 graduates of Yuba City High School.

The couple honeymooned in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
