Letter: High gas prices squeeze poor, middle class

I am writing in regards to the price of gasoline.

It seems funny to me that the news tells us that gas prices are going down, and they did for about a week, now they are up again, and by a lot. People who make minimum wage and have to drive to their job, it will be impossible for them to do it.

People would have to choose to either buy gas for their job or cut down on food and utilities. That's not a good choice.

I don't know what brought the prices to go back up, but the lower and middle class people are going to have a difficult time trying to make ends meet.

What can they do to get out of the mess that whomever it is bringing the gas prices up? Those people are probably rich and can pay whatever the price is, but they are not caring what the gas prices do to those people who are going to have to make choices.
