Letter: Why do people dump old couches around here?

This may not happen where you live, but this is something that really gets my blood boiling. I live in a manufactured home park in Yuba City surrounded by fields and a levee with a railroad track above it.

People think it's just fine to drop off an old couch, chair or just trash around here. It's such an eyesore. If I could get my hands on these folks, they would really get it. I wish the police would see this happening, but these people are sneaky.

Of course the police are there when I speed a little, but don't see an old mattress being flopped down on the side of the road. When my family comes up to visit from Palm Desert, it is so embarrassing.

It would be nice to have a little class around here. Why don't people care about where they live? I care.

Well, I got that off my chest. I feel better already!
