Police Blotter: August 10, 2008

FELONY ARRESTS

• Keith Lyle Smith, 40, of the 8600 block of Bigelow Road, Live Oak, was arrested by the Sutter County Sheriff's Office at 6:29 p.m. Aug. 8 in the 10100 block of Bulings Road, Live Oak on suspicion of having received stolen property and of manufacture, sale and possession of drugs. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

• Jeffrey Scott Toro, 32, of Suisun was arrested by the Sutter County Sheriff's Office at 5 p.m. Aug. 8 at his residence on suspicion of committing lewd and lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14, sexual penetration with a foreign object and sexual battery. He was booked into Sutter County Jail and held on $100,000 bail.

• Manuel Padilla, 41, of the 600 block of Evergreen Drive, Wheatland, was arrested by Sutter County Sheriff's Office at 11:19 a.m. Aug. 8 at the Yuba County Jail on suspicion of illegal entry. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

• Palwinder Singh Mann, 20, of the 1300 block of Sanborn Road, Yuba City, was arrested by the Sutter County Sheriff's Office at 3 a.m. Aug. 9 at Bogue Road and George Washington Boulevard, Yuba City on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE ARRESTS

• Gary Lee Rose, 32, of the 1100 block of Rosewood Drive, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba County Police Department at 10:22 p.m. Aug. 8 at Garden Highway and Bill Avenue in Yuba City. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

• Aldo Sanchez Palma, 23, of the 1300 block of Kent Drive in Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 10:40 p.m. Aug. 8 at the 400 block of Miles Avenue in Yuba City. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.
