Police Blotter: Sept. 5, 2008

FELONY ARRESTS

• Gary Edward Ellis, 52, of the 1200 block of Maple Street, Marysville, was arrested by the Marysville Police Department at 3:48 p.m. Sept. 3 in Marysville on suspicion of corporal injury to spouse or cohabitant. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Maria Elizabeth Mendoza, 22, of the 4300 block of Martell Drive, Olivehurst, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff's Department at 4:42 p.m. Sept. 3 in the 1800 block of Ninth Avenue, Olivehurst, on suspicion of corporal injury to spouse or cohabitant. She was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Nabil Anayeu Mendoza, 18, of the 4300 block of Martell Drive, Olivehurst, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff's Department at 3:07 p.m. Sept. 3 in the 1800 block of Ninth Avenue, Olivehurst, on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon causing great bodily injury and vandalism. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Robert Ellsworth Fawcett, 41, no address listed, was arrested by the Sutter County Sheriff's Department at 1:02 a.m. Sept. 4 at Larkin Road and Apricot Street, Live Oak, on suspicion of possession of narcotics. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

• Amber Nicole Cook, 24, of the first block of Morton Street, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 3 at her residence on suspicion of child cruelty. She was booked into Sutter County Jail.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE ARRESTS

• Rafael Gonzalez, 43, of the 5900 block of Lowe Avenue, East Linda, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 12:06 a.m. Sept. 3 at Donald Drive and McGowan Parkway. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Dana Loring Doss, 46, of the 300 block of Aylor Avenue, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 4:39 p.m. Sept. 3 a Second and C streets. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.
