FELONY ARRESTS

• Christopher Arthur Carr, 23, of the 2900 block of Lynwood Drive, Yuba City, was arrested by the Marysville Police Department at 5:53 p.m Sept. 28 in the 100 block of East 17th Street on suspicion of robbery, kidnapping and rape by force or fear. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Stephen Mark Harmon, 46, of the 4900 block of Olivehurst Avenue, Olivehurst, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff's Department at 3:14 p.m. Sept. 29 at the department on suspicion of corporal injury to spouse or cohabitant. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Richard Francisco Gonzales, 25, of the 1100 block of Arthur Street, Marysville, Kayla Marie Ann Martinez, 20, of the 1100 block of Nadene Drive, Marysville, Mart Martinez, 25, of the 1100 block of Nadene Drive, and Luis Molina, 27, of the 1100 block of Nadene Drive, were arrested Sept. 29 by the Marysville Police Department on suspicion of robbery, assault with a deadly weapon other than a gun and criminal street gang activity. They were booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Bret Lea Wyche, 50, of the 5400 block of Hammonton Road, Yuba County, was arrested by the Yuba-Sutter Narcotic Enforcement Team at 7 a.m. Sept. 29 in Live Oak on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Leonard Allen Johnson, 41, of the 1100 block of Grand Avenue, Yuba County, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff's Department at 10:45 a.m. Sept. 28 at the department on suspicion of corporal injury to spouse or cohabitant. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Richard Michael Dorman, 20, of the 1200 block of Melton Drive, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 10:07 p.m. Sept. 29 at Gray Avenue and Melton Drive on suspicion of spousal battery. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

• Mary Alice Smith, 52, of the 1400 block of Gray Avenue, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 10:46 p.m. Sept. 29 at her residence on suspicion of corporal injury to spouse. She was booked into Sutter County Jail.

• Jeff Andre Catlin, 22, of the 1000 block of Ainsley Avenue, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 5:50 p.m. Sept. 29 in the 100 block of Clark Avenue on suspicion of corporal injury to spouse and intimidating a victim or witness. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE ARRESTS

• Jessica Maria Rocha, 21, of the 700 block of Jones Road, Yuba City, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 1:20 a.m. Sept. 30 at Clark and Forbes avenues. She was booked into Sutter County Jail.

• Hsin Wei Hsu, 44, of the 1900 block of Hardial Drive, Yuba City, was arrested by the Sutter County Sheriff's Department at 12:17 a.m Sept. 30 at Walton Avenue and Bridge Street. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

• Jason Andrew Jobes, 21, of the 1800 block of Baron Court, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 1:01 a.m Sept. 30 at Shasta and Center streets. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

• Alonso Gonzalez Garcia, 34, of the 1600 block of C Street, Nicolaus, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 11 p.m. Sept. 29 on Swanson Street south of the Bear River. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

• Jamie Leinaala Pruett, 41, of Sacramento, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 3:25 p.m. Sept. 29 at Highway 99 and Howsley Road. Pruett was booked into Sutter County Jail.

HOMELESS SHELTER?
Yuba City is considering using the former fire station No. 4 on Walton Avenue as a cold-weather shelter for homeless families. Is this a good idea?
