Police Blotter: Oct. 15, 2008

FELONY ARRESTS

• Gary Allen Huber, 31, of the 2100 block of Reed Road, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff's Department at 9:51 p.m. Oct. 13 at the Linda Wal-Mart, 1131 N. Beale Road, on suspicion of burglary. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Daniel Edward Up, 20, of the 3100 block of La Mantia Drive, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff's Department at 8:35 p.m. Oct. 13 at Ella Avenue and Arboga Road on suspicion of battery with serious bodily injury. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Maria Luisa Jimenez, 34, of the 5400 block of Feather River Boulevard, Olivehurst, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff's Department at 10:15 a.m. Oct. 13 at her residence on suspicion of corporal injury to spouse or cohabitant. She was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Filiberto Corona Ambriz, 34, of the 100 block of Sixth Street, Arbuckle, was arrested by the Yolo County Sheriff's Office at 7:15 p.m. Oct. 13, at his residence on suspicion of knowingly receiving stolen property and being a felon in possession of a firearm. He was booked into Colusa County Jail.

• Katrina Mae Barnwell, 23, of the 2000 block of County Line Road, Arbuckle, was arrested by the Colusa County Sheriff's Office at 5 p.m. Oct. 11 at the Colusa Casino on suspicion of knowingly receiving stolen property.

• Jose Luis Villa Mendoza, 25, of San Jose, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 1:05 a.m., Oct. 13 on southbound Interstate 5 south of Hillgate Road on suspicion of transporting more than 28.5 grams of marijuana and possession of marijuana for sale. He was booked into Colusa County Jail.

DRIVING UNDER THE NFLUENCE ARRESTS

• Miguel Hector Escobar, 72, of the 800 block of Twelfth Street, Williams, was arrested by the Williams Police Department at 8 p.m., Oct. 13, in front of his residence. He was booked into Colusa County Jail.

• Gabino Garcia Placencia, 20, of Vallejo, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 1:04 a.m., Oct. 12, on southbound Interstate 5 south of Delevan Road. He was booked into Colusa County Jail.

• Mariana Theresa Rosales, 29, of the first block of Swift Street, Orland, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 7:30 a.m., Oct. 11, on northbound Interstate 5, north of Maxwell Road. She was booked into Colusa County Jail.
