Police Blotter: Nov. 4, 2008

FELONY ARRESTS

• Stephen Francisco Lopez, 18, of the 4600 block of Ardmore Avenue, Olivehurst, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff's Department at 5 p.m. Nov. 2 at the department on suspicion of rape by force. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Roberto Arriaga Garcia, 24, of the 900 block of Market Street, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 11:45 a.m. Nov. 2 at his residence on suspicion of corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

• Robert Charles Martinez, 27, of the 600 block of Seventh Street, Arbuckle, was arrested by the Colusa County Sheriff's Office in a field southwest of Highway 45 and Dry Slough Road on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. He was booked into Colusa County Jail.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE ARRESTS

• Michael Emery Carvo, 51, of the 2800 block of Lincoln Road, Yuba City, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 2 at Highway 99 and Smith Road. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

• Guilllermo Tafoya, 20, of the first block of 12th Street, Colusa, was arrested by the Colusa Police Department at 1:47 a.m. Nov. 3 on East Carson Street. He was booked into Colusa County Jail.

• Richard John Bacigalulpi, 46, of San Francisco, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 11:43 p.m. Nov. 2 on southbound Interstate 5 south of E Street. He was booked into Colusa County Jail.

• Ronald Lewis Rantasuo, 46, of Union City, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 5:19 p.m. Oct. 31 on northbound Interstate 5 north of Hahn Road. He was booked into Colusa County Jail.

• Vincent William Acero, 44, of Pacifica, was arrested by the Colusa Police Department at 1:44 a.m. Nov. 1 on River Road. He was booked into Colusa County Jail.

• Rafael Cano, 50, of the 500 block of College City Road, College City, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 12:54 a.m. Nov. 1 on South Friel Road. He was booked into Colusa County Jail.

• Maureen Shearin Cervantes, 40, of the 3000 block of Wilson Avenue, Colusa, was arrested by the Colusa Police Department at 1:31 a.m., Nov. 1 on 13th and Jay Streets, Colusa. She was booked into Colusa County Jail.
