Police Blotter: Nov. 27, 2008

FELONY ARRESTS

• Oscar Reyes-Mejia, 31, of Oakland, a Yuba County Jail inmate, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff's Department at 11:50 p.m. Nov. 25 at the jail on suspicion of battering an officer.

• Richard Scott House, 22, of the 1100 block of East 22nd Street, Marysville, was arrested by the Wheatland Police Department at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 25 on East 22nd Street on suspicion of illegal weapon possession. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Pamela Jean Thornburg, 36, of the 2700 block of Hooper Road, Yuba County, was arrested by the Yuba County Probation Department at 5:20 p.m. Nov. 25 at her residence on a Marysville Police Department warrant for grand theft of personal property, second-degree burglary and passing a fake check. She was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Natasha Hannelore Nelson, 29, of the 1900 block of Beverly Lane, Olivehurst, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff's Department at 5:34 a.m. Nov. 25 at her residence on suspicion of corporal injury to spouse or cohabitant. She was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Jessie Ray Denton, 22, of the 11600 block of Colfax Highway, Grass Valley, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff's Department at 1:25 a.m. Nov. 25 at North Beale Road and Wal-Mart Circle on suspicion of possession of an illegal weapon and narcotics. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Amanda Mae Overman, 36, of Roseville, was arrested by the Colusa County Sheriff's Office at 6:50 p.m. Nov. 25 on Highway 99 and Finks Road on suspicion of possession of more than an ounce of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance. She was booked into Colusa County Jail.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE ARRESTS

• Gurminder Singh Gill, 23, of the 800 block of Ross Drive, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 3:55 a.m. Nov. 26 on Steidlmayer Drive. Gill was booked into Sutter County Jail.

• Javier Orozco, 20, of the 800 block of King Street, Arbuckle, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 1:46 a.m. Nov. 26 on Hall Street, Arbuckle. He was booked into Colusa County Jail.

• Antonio Moreno Ibarra, 20, of the 100 block of Modoc Court, Colusa, was arrested by the Colusa Police Department at 12:49 a.m. Nov. 25 at his residence. He was booked into Colusa County Jail.

• Donna Lynn Young, 59, of Oakdale, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 8:25 p.m. Nov. 25 at the Maxwell Rest Area on northbound Interstate 5. She was booked into Colusa County Jail.
