DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE ARRESTS

• Jarrod Craig Choate, 26, of the 1100 block of Secret Lake Trail, Plumas Lake, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 3 a.m. Dec. 18 at Secret Lake and Jones Bar trails. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Stephanie Gene Romero, 19, of the 700 block of Sloss Avenue, Yuba City, was arrested by the Marysville Police Department at 11:45 p.m. Dec. 17 at Fifth and E streets. She was booked into Yuba County Jail.

FELONY ARRESTS

• Michael Frederick Hesse, 28, of the 1400 block of Portola Valley Road, Yuba City, was arrested by the Sutter County Sheriff's Department at 1:30 a.m. Dec. 18 at Portola Valley Road and Pebble Beach Drive on suspicion of writing a fictitious check. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

• Timothy Gordon Spence, 39, of the 1400 block of Live Oak Boulevard, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 11:17 p.m. Dec. 17 at his residence on suspicion of corporal injury to spouse and assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

• Peter Paul Ticknor, 34, of the 3800 block of Railroad Avenue, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 1:43 a.m Dec. 17 in the 1400 block of Garden Highway on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and ammunition by a felon. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.
