Police Blotter: Sept. 1, 2009

FELONY ARRESTS

• Harry Wayne Abell Jr., 34, of Sacramento, was arrested by the Marysville Police Department at 1:45 p.m. Aug. 30 in the 1900 block of Covillaud Street on suspicion of petty theft with a prior conviction. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Michael Jason Dotson, 30, of the 1600 block of Swezy Street, Marysville, was arrested by the Marysville Police Department at 6:50 a.m Aug. 30 at his residence on suspicion of criminal threats and corporal injury to spouse or cohabitant. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Jose Maria Cruz-Cortes, 29, of Sacramento, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 2:40 p.m. Aug. 30 at Highway 99 and Wilkie Road on suspicion of driving under the influence and illegally entering the U.S. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE ARRESTS

• Neil Dunham, of Deary, was arrested by the Marysville Police Department at 2 p.m. Aug. 30 in Marysville. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Jesus Hector Villa-Quijada, 38, of the 1800 block of Park Circle, Yuba County, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 10:24 p.m. Aug. 30 at Seventh Avenue and Beaver Lane, Olivehurst. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.
