Police Blotter: Oct. 21, 2009

FELONY ARRESTS

• Dale Robert Johnson, 47, of the 1900 block of Beverly Avenue, Olivehurst, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff's Department at 3:45 p.m. Oct. 19 at his residence on suspicion of failure to register as a sex offender. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Sandra Marie Atcher, 19, of the 4300 block of College Way, Olivehurst, was arrested by the Marysville Police Department at 12:59 p.m. Oct. 19 at an unlisted address on suspicion of possession of hashish. She was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Cara Leah Schifferns, 28, of the 1400 block of Phillips Road, Yuba City; Jeffery Brian Triplett, 34, of the 1400 block of Thomas Drive, Yuba City; and Michael Cory Marler, 38, of the 1700 block of Sanborn Road, Yuba City were arrested by the Sutter County Sheriff's Department at 3 a.m. Oct. 20 in the first block of Shanghai Bend Road on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance. They were booked into Sutter County Jail.

• Rachelle June Nunez, 29, of the 3100 block of Live Oak Boulevard, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 7:20 p.m. Oct. 19 at her residence on suspicion of vandalism. She was booked into Sutter County Jail.

• John Paul Dhillon, 30, of the 3700 block of Libby Lane, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 5:25 p.m. Oct. 19 at Royo Ranchero Road and Sierra Vista Drive on suspicion of criminal threats. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

• Melody Renee Murphy, 39, of the 700 block of Bandy Way, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 5:55 p.m. Oct. 19 at Walmart, 1150 Harter Parkway, on suspicion of burglary and petty theft with a prior conviction. She was booked into Sutter County Jail.

• Julio Cesar Madrigal, 31, of the 1100 block of Sixth Street, Colusa, was arrested by the Colusa County Interagency Narcotics Task Force at 11:10 a.m. Oct. 19 at his residence on suspicion of possession and transportation of marijuana for sale. He was booked into Colusa County Jail.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE ARRESTS

• Frank Curry Thomas, 43, of the 1900 block of Riverside Drive, Linda, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff's Department at 9:11 p.m. Oct. 19 in the first block of East 12th Street, Marysville. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Joey Michael Schmidt, 47, of Watsonville, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 2:27 a.m. Oct. 20 on Interstate 5 at Husted Road. He was booked into Colusa County Jail.
