Air Force Reserve Airman Zachary Giffin-Pope graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas, where is attending security forces training.
A 2010 graduate of Mojave High School in Las Vegas, he is the son of Dennis and Diona Pope of Yuba City and Wendy and Kevin Sweet of Las Vegas and the grandson of Richard and Martha Pope of Yuba City.

Eric J. Bonick has entered basic cadet training, a six-week, two-phased program, at the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colo., before the first academic year at the academy.
The son of Lisa Levine of Live Oak and Gregory Bonick of Gridley, he is a 2010 graduate of Yuba City High School.

Air Force Reserve Airman Brad K. Cariker graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is in integrated avionics training at Keesler Air Force Base in Mississippi; then to be transferred to continue training at Sheppard Air Force Base in north Texas.
The 2003 Lindhurst High School graduate is the son of Brian Cariker of Olivehurst; and son of Sandra Cariker and brother of Joseph Cariker, also of Olivehurst. Additionally, Cariker has grandparents Keith and Judy Cariker from Olivehurst and Claire Nichols of Marysville; wife Loree Cariker and children Alekxander and Lyrica Cariker from Olivehurst.

Air Force Reserve Airman Jennifer E. Valler graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
She is the daughter of Kathryn Valler of Yuba City. Valler graduated in 2009 from Abraham Lincoln homeschooled program in Marysville.
