Three Cheers Letter: Happy Landings program cheered

I would like to give a great big three cheers for the generous support our community gives to our Beale military families.

For the past three years, I have assisted with the Happy Landings program at the Beale Airman and Family Readiness Center.

The program provides support to the spouses of military families who have recently moved to Beale.

My part of the program is sharing my favorite things about living in the Yuba-Sutter area. At the November Happy Landings program 85 individuals, businesses and service organizations provided information, coupons, gift certificates and prizes for our new Beale spouses and their families.

You can only imagine the joy they feel when they are welcomed with such an outpouring of generosity and love. Thank you to all of you who have "had my back" for the past three years and made me proud to call Yuba-Sutter my home!
