Corning Observer
On April 28, the Corning Volunteer Fire Department celebrated 100 years of service to the community with a parade, breakfast, dinner, and firemen's muster. Volunteer firefighter Kol Zuppan is pictured filling a bucket with water ready to hand off to his fellow firefighters during the muster's bucket brigade. Fire departments from Mendocino, Greenville, Willows, Sacramento River and Colusa competed in the muster.
