50th Anniversary: Lane

Longtime Yuba City residents Alfred Lee and Rosemary Lane, the former Rosemary Morton, will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
The couple met during their freshman year at Sierra College – she had a broken leg and was using crutches and he offered to carry her books – and were married Dec. 7, 1962, in Auburn.
Originally from Crescent City, he retired from the Internal Revenue Service in 1991.
A homemaker, she is a native of Auburn.
Both are graduates of Sacramento State College.
They have one daughter, Cynthia Lane of Bakersfield.
